So embarrassing!

 

Hi friends! I hope you have all been doing well. I am excitedly counting down the days I have left for work until my vacation! I will be going to Taiwan and Japan this summer and I am super excited. I have a list of places I want to go to in Japan~ fingers crossed that the weather is not too crazy and I don't get lost lol.

Today's review is on the white tee + navy dress from Shein! As you all know, Shein is a popular online clothing store that sells a wide variety of dresses, tees, skirts, coats, shoes, accessories, and so much more! They are always having sales so don't forget to take advantage of those too! I guarantee you will find something you like in their store.

I ordered this dress on July 11th and it arrived on July 28th! As always, my items were securely packaged and wrapped.

As shown in the stock photos, this review consists of two pieces: a white tee and a navy spaghetti strap dress. I chose this item because it reminded me of those super cute two piece dresses I often see in Asian fashion magazines. I like this style because it is more conservative yet super adorable! The white tee itself is very soft and comfortable. However, its sleeves billow out kind of awkwardly and had a lot of loose threads. The tee is decorated with cute scalloped linings.

The dress color is a little different from the stock photos. The photo on their site looks more purple but the dress that came is a more blue color. The dress itself is not stretchy at all. And I am stressing this because when I tried to wear it, I tore a rather large hole in the dress. The front part is extremely tight on me and no..my boobs aren't that big lol. The material is a stiff and thin fabric.

My mom's the real MVP! She helped me model this dress so I could take some photos of it. As you can see the sleeve openings flare out. I don't really like this look because to me, it looks flappy. 

I do like the overall length of the dress! It's hard to find dresses this length without it looking too conservative. That's why I find these two piece dresses super adorable. I just wish the material was stretchier / my butt wasn't so huge so I wouldn't have torn a big hole in it.
