July Favorites - Romper Edition

image
Hi friends! I hope you have all been doing well. After some consideration, I decided that I wanted to blog more besides items that are sent to me for review. I actually considered different things like should I write about my slow journey to improving my handwriting / faux calligraphy, should I write reviews on skincare products...but after reading through a lot of fashion blogs, I decided I wanted to try to do 'favorites' blog posts. While I have become a bit busier through work, I still love blogging and writing and I think this is a great outlet for me to test out different styles of writing.

This post is a bit late; I originally had intended to post this before August 1st (hence the name July favorites lol) but things happened and this post got pushed back, yay.

I don't know about you, but I'm seeing rompers everywhere. Five ago, if you had given me a romper to wear, I would've thrown it back in your face and called you crazy. Looking at the very boyish style I used to wear, I find it amazing that my own personal style has evolved so much. Yes, I am still quite insecure about many parts of my body but thanks to so much support from my friends, I am slowly becoming more confident. Rompers would've scared the shit out of me back then; I'm proud to say I have...three of these scandalously short items in my closet. I used to never enjoy showing anything above my calf (lol) because hellooooo thunder thighs but oh well. Summer is a time to be a little more daring and what's the point of life if you don't live a little?

And that brings us to the current topic of this post: my favorite rompers I've come across on the website called Romwe. I've worked with Romwe for about three years now and I can honestly say that their clothing style has really evolved. I'm happy to say that a lot of their clothes are absolutely adorable and, best of all, affordable and come in a large range of different styles. You definitely will find something you like! For me, Romwe has become a perfect place for me to test out new styles that I would not have even dreamed of wearing in the past.

Okay, this romper caught my eye because 1. pastel pink and 2. cute little floral prints. What's great about cami rompers is that if you feel too exposed you can wear a fitted white t-shirt under it. Also, I think layering some simple necklaces would add a cute touch to the look.

This is the cutest outfit to wear to a study date, or as I like to call it pretend to study but actually mess around because your outfit is too damn cute to waste on studying. Unfortunately, I'm not a student anymore (I accidentally typed stupid) but sometimes I like to pretend I am one because hello discounts and also looking younger. I am very seriously considering purchasing this romper because I have similar wire framed glasses and also a pair of Muji white canvas shoes...interesting.

For some reason, I never see black rompers? I know the print is floral but if you don't look too closely, it almost seems like the galaxy to me~ what a cute outfit to wear to the beach! I'm not a fan of those shoes or the hat but I think the romper itself is adorable. Also a halter neck romper does add a bit of spice to your outfit, if ya know what I mean~

This is what I call a refreshing look! Perfect for the summer, you can't go wrong with baby blue and bright white stripes. A boat neckline is like the cherry on top for this look. This screams beach date outfit to me; don't waste this outfit hanging out at the mall please!

So this is my first attempt at a favorites blog post. Let me know what you think! I settled with four items because I figured five would drag on too long. But I am absolutely loving this heat. I love summer because I feel like summer styles are more fun compared to winter fashion. And as always, thank you for reading my posts and for your support. It means the world to me~
