Hi friends! I hope you have all been doing well. Today I got my ears pierced! Some of you may have noticed that I already have two conch piercings, but today I got my lobes pierced. Most people are afraid of getting cartilage piercings, but I was afraid of getting regular lobe piercings. Sounds strange right? I had this fear that my lobe piercings would easily get infected because it is softer than cartilage. I don't when or how this fear began but it was because of this fear that took me so long to get my lobes pierced! I got them done today and I am so in love with them!

Today's review is going to be on this dainty crotchet lace dress from Shein! As you all know, Shein is a popular online clothing store that sells a wide variety of dresses, tees, skirts, coats, shoes, accessories, and so much more! They are always having sales so don't forget to take advantage of those too! I guarantee you will find something you like in their store

I ordered this dress on June 29th and it arrived on July 28th! At first I was confused why it took so long, but Merry from Shein kindly explained to me that it was not a ship within 24 hours item. As always, my clothes were securely packaged and wrapped.

My first impression of this dress was that it was so cute and dainty looking. I had imagined it to be like a fairy-esque look, probably because of the adorable light blue color of the dress. When it arrived, I was pleased to see that it was pretty accurate to the photos on Shein. However, the color is a little bit off, but to be honest, I prefer the color that I have.

The nice thing about the dress is that it has adjustable straps and you can adjust the dress according to how comfortable you are. I would say that the straps are located so far out that they are constantly slipping off and are at an awkward location on my shoulders.

The fabric of the dress is pretty nice; soft and flowy. However, it is a bit sheer. You can see my underwear and bra quite clearly when I wear this dress! I really wish the material was a bit thicker.

I love how this dress looks! I feel so cute and dainty~ like a fairy about to have some fancy tea or something lol. If you look in the photos where I'm wearing the dress, you can see my bra strap. That is kind of where I prefer the straps of the dress to be. If you notice, the straps of the dress are like right where my armpits are. Because of this, they are constantly slipping off my shoulders.

Length-wise, the dress is perfect! I had to adjust the straps a bit because it was showing too much cleavage and I might actually try to adjust it higher to hopefully keep the straps from slipping off, but I love how the dress almost reached my knees. I'm not a huge fan of short dresses because 1. I'm fat so it makes the dresses look shorter and 2. I'm a little on the tall side so dresses will be shorter on me. The model in the stock photos is 5'9 and the dress seems to reach her thigh. I'm 5'6 and it is almost to my knees - aka my ideal length for a dress.

I am in love with the crotchet details of this dress. Paired with the adorable blue color, the crotchet details gives off a dainty look! This is such a great dress for a classier occasion like afternoon tea. I don't know why I keep associating this dress with drinking tea. I paired this dress with a super cute crescent moon choker given to me by my lovely fellow blogger Nicole.

I actually really really love this dress. I just wish it wasn't so sheer. I need to figure out what to wear underneath it so my panties so show, hehe. But the overall design and look of this dress is so gorgeous! I can't wait to be able to wear it out ~ if anyone has any suggestions on what to wear underneath, I greatly appreciate it!
