First shorts

I ordered this dress on July 15th and it arrived on July 23rd! As always it was securely wrapped and packaged! I really went out of my comfort zone with these shorts. Before these, I have never bought nor owned a pair of shorts. I'm extremely self conscious about my legs because I have very thick calves and thighs. When I was younger, I always envied girls who could wear shorts and look great. I decided to get these shorts because I saw that they had an elastic waist which is great for my food baby.

The material of these shorts is pretty nice. It's quite thick, but still comfortable. I don't really like this shade of blue, but these shorts are still a nice item to have. As with many shorts, these are very plain, decorated with a simple cuff at each leg. The zipper does not go all the way up to the top, but I don't really see that as a problem.

I paired these shorts with a lemon print top and I actually do like how this looks. It has a very refreshing vibe~ great for the summer. However, for some reason these shorts make me look like I have a bulge, lol. I did try to Google why or how that happens, and many people said it's because the top part is too loose / there's too much fabric. Hm, interesting.

I also wore these shorts with this cute hat cat embroidered tee also from Romwe. Shorts are so easy to pair a top with~ I really do like these shorts and I'm glad I took the chance with them! Ordering pants online are probably the most difficult thing to do because of measurements, but I'm relieved my first experience went well~
