Some assembling required

Hi friends! I hope you have all been doing well! Is it me or have the mosquitoes really stepped up their game this year? I usually never get mosquito bites here in the US but this year, I've been getting bite after bite and it's seriously so annoying! Does anyone have some tips for repelling mosquitoes?

I ordered this dress on July 15th and it arrived on July 23rd! As always it was securely wrapped and packaged! This dress is pretty much the same as the stock photos on the site, but I do think that they should include that some assembling would be required.

And by assembling, I mean the straps! At first I was confused because I thought they forgot to create slits on the straps for the buttons, but then I realized that in the package, there was a small ziplocked bag that included the four metal pieces that was required to create the strap. After about fifteen minutes of struggling, my brother came and figured it out within a couple of minutes lol.

Assembled! I guess the nice thing about this is that that means the straps are adjustable and you can change it according to your height.

The semi annoying thing is that the straps were so long that when I finally fitted it on, the long ends of the straps sort of go a little crazy on their own. As you can see in the photo above, the extra fabric of the straps are sticking out.

In addition, the dress has a side zipper and three pockets (one on front, two in the back). The material of the dress is a nice sturdy denim and I loved the vertical stripe design of the dress.

The dress is very very tight. I guess the side zipper is to help release some of that tightness lol. I had thought it was going to be loose like the pink corduroy dress I had gotten from Romwe a while back. But this denim dress is very curve hugging. As you can see, my food baby is very visible in the photos above.

To be honest, I love this dress but I wish it wasn't so damn tight, lol. My dad agreed that it's probably one of the cutest items I've gotten, but he said I should lose some weight! It is very easy to match a top for the dress and the overall look is so cute.

I've worn this denim dress with a lemon print top and also with a cat patch pocket tee and both have very different styles, but still very cute. I also like that this dress is a lot longer than the other corduroy dress! There were some loose strings here and there, but nothing too bad. Overall, this is a great vintage item to have, very ideal for summer. I guess I can use this dress as a motivation to lose some weight!
