Back at it again with the reviews!

Hi friends! I hope you have all been doing well. I have been a bit inactive because I wanted to focus on finishing school strongly. Finals flew by faster than I expected and the next thing that happened was I was walking onto the stage during commencement! I guess you could say now I'm officially an adult? Doing adult things? Like...getting a job? Yes, I have also gotten my official first job. It's amazing and I'm getting paid pretty well. I start training tomorrow so I'm pretty excited.

I received an order confirmation email on May 30th and received the dress on June 8th. As always it was securely packaged but I forgot to take a photo~

I really liked how the dress looked in the photos on the site! The model looked so cute and dainty~ I wanted to look the same. To be fair, the dress is a spitting image of the dress in the photos. The material is a very light and thin denim ~ but don't worry, you're undies will not show! The top has an extra layer of protection thanks to the ruffles. The cool thing about this dress is that you can address the "sleeves" to either make it a scoop neck dress or a completely strapless dress.

Here's what the dress looks like under the ruffles. As you can see it is a simple sleeveless dress that is quite flexible depending on how you feel. If you're feeling a bit more bold, definitely go for the strapless look. If you're feeling cute and dainty, I'd say the scoop neck look would be perfect. Either way, this dress is very ideal for the summer because of it's excellent material and overall design.

I decided to pair this dress with an adorable moon choker just so my collarbone area wouldn't look too empty. I like this dress a lot, but I think the ruffles made me look a little frumpy. Hopefully after washing it, the ruffles will calm down a bit! It also has a nice length that reaches mid thigh. If you go for the strapless look, it will go even lower~

I have a love - hate relationship with this dress. On one hand I absolutely love the ruffles because they're so cute but on the other hand, I feel like I look a bit frumpy. I have my fingers crossed that washing it will do the trick and smooth down some ruffles. But the quality of this dress is absolutely amazing. It's rare to find a dress that is nicely thin for the summer and also not too sheer or revealing.
