Winter is Coming

Hi friends! I hope you have all been doing well. I just got a new job so I'm super excited to start but I have to wait for them to finish processing the paperwork before I get my schedule! Finally ~ the days of lounging around are over, but I don't mind so much because despite my obsession with anime / games I absolutely love staying busy with work (and of course getting paychecks). 

Lately, I've been obsessing over a sport anime called Haikyuu!! I breezed through two seasons and caught up on the third season in three days...the obsession is so real here lol. Of course with any anime I get into, there are always the "bae" characters and Haikyuu!! proved to have many bae characters such as Oikawa Tooru...the ultimate bae. I won't list all the characters I like but in the third season, I am completely fascinated by this little cinnamon roll Tendou Satori! 

But back to the important matter...

I received an order confirmation email on Nov 3rd and the package arrived on Nov 13th! As always it was securely wrapped. Because the weather had been so strange lately, I didn't really feel like "winter was approaching" especially because even in November, there were some days when the temperature reached the 90s. But I thought it would best be prepared when winter really does hit, I mean it will eventually right? This long sweatshirt is an absolutely perfect choice for winter. It is super warm and cozy with the interior lined with soft fleece for extra warmthy goodness. And what sets this sweatshirt apart from your basic black hoodie sweatshirt is the incredible and almost ridiculous length of it! I am 5'6 and this jacket reaches my mid-calf...pretty much turning this "jacket" into the ultimate winter coat. And of course it is black which also reflects on my obsession and love for wearing all black outfits. Also, I did order this in M and even though I was nervous about the shoulder fit , I was pretty pleased with how it fit overall. To be honest, it's large enough that my older brother can wear it too lol, but he said the shoulder and arms were definitely tight on him.

What's great about this jacket is that you can seriously just wear anything underneath and it wouldn't matter because no one can really see it. In this photo I'm wearing a simple grey and black sweater from Forever 21 paired with leggings. The sweater is probably too short to be worn with leggings but you can never tell, thanks to this long sweatshirt covering it up. I love that this sweatshirt looks a little "edgy" haha so I spiced my outfit up by wearing large metallic horned earrings I got from Hot Topic. 

I can easily see myself becoming obsessed with this item especially when it's cold. Seriously, this is like a mini heater, it is so comfortable and warm. I wore it out last week to try it out when I had to buy ketchup with my brother at the store at night. It was the best! I don't really have complaints besides that it is a little difficult to zip up for some reason especially at the bottom part ~
