Hello friends!
It was raining a little bit this morning so I lazed around in bed and finally mustered up the strength to get up around noon because I was starving. I had assumed that lunch in the dining halls began at noon but to my surprise, when I arrived, they were serving breakfast. Confused, I grabbed a tray and loaded it with tater tots, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, and cranberry juice and asked a girl working at the cash register when lunch officially started. She said two o'clock.
There goes my hope for trying their tofu enchiladas...unless I'm not too lazy to walk there again later. Good thing the sun's out though.
Today's review is going to be on Sheinside's wine red coat. Sheinside is an online warehouse with an amazingly huge variety of all sorts of clothes that include but are not limited to dresses, sweatshirts, leggings, jeans, skirts, shoes, and accessories. Here is what the coat looks like on Sheinside and I also included the product information. This coat is currently sold out in wine red but it also comes in green and black.

Here's what it looks like hanging up. The first thing I noticed was that this coat is pretty thin, so I feel that the label 'Winter' on their product information is misleading. I feel that it's more of a fall type of coat because the material is thin and does not provide much warmth. Another thing I noticed was that the color is not as vibrant as the one in the picture. The one in the picture looks like a solid shade of red but the coat is actually more blotchy looking. However, the inside has a layer of really soft satin. Which is another reason why I don't think this falls under the winter coats category. It feels really cool on the skin.
Also one of the buttons fell the first time I wore it out. the metal hook under the button that is sewn onto the sleeve, popped off.

On the upper sleeve there is a piece of fabric that you have to button on. My coat came with a false button hole on the left side. I had to use a knife and cut a slit myself in order to slip the button through. Can't have loose fabric slapping around!
Yay for more photos taken outside! I took this right outside my apartment. And this is what the coat looks like in natural light. Do you see what I mean when I say the color looks splotchy? Maybe because the fabric is made out of corduroy and not your typical wool or polyester. The coat does cover my butt so I think I like this oversized look.
I have a tank top under it. I think you should wear it with a low cut shirt because a shirt with a regular neckline will look a little awkward.

In conclusion, I do like the jacket but the buttons made it hard to love it. I think it's a great jacket to wear in the fall when its not too cold and wearing it will definitely make you look chic. It works as a great casual jacket and it goes well with a lot of things. The color might make it hard to match with, but it is available in two other colors: green and black. (I actually think the green would look amazing!)

This time, my package took a while longer to arrive. My order was received on January 30th and I got my package on February 24th. The delay is actually understandable because of Chinese New Year! I was really touched how Merry helped me figure out the problem with my tracking number even when she's supposed to be on vacation. I'm always super impressed with Sheinside's customer service. Don't be shy to ever ask them questions!

/5Please be careful not to get sick and layer up so you don't feel cold. Drink lots of tea when you're stressed and remember to take breaks when you're busy so you don't overwork yourself. Stay moisturized and drink lots of water! Thanks for reading my review and I hope you have a lovely day.
