Introducing New Chic Pt 1

Hi friends! I hope you have all been well! How were your new year celebrations? I hope they were full of fun and excitement! As for me, I didn't do anything especially exciting, but I did eat a lot of sweet potatoes and 湯圓 (glutinous rice balls).

Oh, I'm also back at school! I also received a ton of packages so I am very happy~ my friend also sent me a postcard all the way from Singapore which is super cool!

Today, I'd like to introduce you to New ChicNew Chic is an online store that sells a variety of items ranging from clothes (men AND women!) to shoes to accessories to beauty products. Their items are super affordable and cute! Please check them out ~

This review is going to be on the canvas letter backpack. Here is a photo of the bag from their website and it's product info:

*I ordered mine in black, but it also comes in white and green.*

I ordered my products on Nov. 20th and my package arrived at the end of December! My products were packaged very securely.

I was super excited to get this bag because I had seen it on other websites and it looks so cool! I was pretty pleased with the quality of it ~ the bag is made of canvas and fake leather with three pouches for putting things into.

I think the print says "Number (N)ine Takahiro Miyashita. I like how it is in someone's handwriting instead of a plain print. Also, the main pouch contained the straps for the backpack!

There are a couple ways to put on the straps!

I like using the bag like a tote bag instead of a backpack ~

The links on the straps are actually quite flimsy. I'm always scared that they might suddenly break if I put too many heavy things in the bag. Also they seem to slip open a lot - I might try to melt the metal together so it doesn't slip open.

The pouches are quite spacious! I can fit at three journals inside the biggest pouch and still have a lot of space. Also, the smaller pouches on the front and back can fit the same journals inside comfortably.

However, the main pouch does not fit a standard binder, but I think it should fit regular sized notebooks fine ~ all of the journals I use are a bit smaller.

In conclusion, I really like this backpack! I've been using it for a couple of days so far and it has been sturdy and good to use. In the main pouch, I usually put three journals, a water bottle, and an umbrella. In the back pouch, I usually have a scarf in there in case it gets cold. In the front pouch, I put my phone, lip balm, my landyard, and my wallet. However, I wish the straps weren't so flimsy.

*Update* One of the metal zippers broke when I tugged on it in class.

Thank you for reading this short review! Three days since school started and I managed to get sick with a nasty cough so I've been tired. I have more reviews coming up so I hope you enjoy them! The weather has been crazy lately so please stay indoors as much as possible and try to stock up on food at home! Be safe everyone!
