Stay Hydrated

Hi friends! I hope you have been doing well. Today is the fourth of July~ well I guess it's more accurate to say that fourth of July is coming to an end which equals the parade of fireworks that will probably last for a couple of more hours. I was on a quest earlier to buy dinner for my family and to my sadness, all the places I wanted to go to were closed! And then to top it off, I got a bunch of Snapchats from my friend of her delicious looking food. I was so sad.

Today's review is very fitting for summer. It is on the water bottle tee from  Makemechic! Makemechic is a sister site of Shein! I received an order confirmation email on June 15th and the tee arrived on June 23rd. As always it was packaged securely.

One of the first things I noticed about this tee was that the material it was made out of is incredibly soft! I really like the material, but the downside is that it is quite sheer. When I tried on this tee, my bra was visible, especially from the back because the back did not have the printed bottle design on it. 

I really love the bottle print design because it is different from the usual milk bottle aesthetic you see on Tumblr. Instead, it says 'water' which I find it super fitting because in the summer, we should all remember to stay hydrated. I don't know about you, but I have difficulty remembering to drink water ~ I even downloaded an app to remind me, but I still forget. Another unique point about this tee is the dual pockets in black and grey. It is definitely not something commonly seen on t-shirts. I especially like the grey pocket because it is a nice contrast from the black and white. I was sad to see that this tee did not have "regular" sleeves. I'm putting that in quotes because I don't know what it's called exactly but these sleeves are like arm holes...with cuffs.

This t-shirt reminds me of something I'd wear to class so I paired it with a long suspender dress and my nerd glasses. It was a little tight on me and really emphasized my rolls lol.

My Papa helped me take this photo~ while I don't like wearing this t-shirt on its own, I do like pairing it with this dress because the dress hides my chub but I still get to show the cute bottle design!
