Hi friends! I hope you have all been doing well. Today my friends took me to a Japanese restaurant I have never tried before and I really loved the food~ and it was really affordable because we went during lunch special hour. I usually stay away from sushi places because I'm not a fan of raw fish; I don't understand the appeal of it lol. But I was able to order some teriyaki chicken and tempura, both which I love~

Today's review is on the super cute ruffle lace up dress from  Makemechic! Makemechic is a sister site of Shein! Just like their name suggests, Makemechic offers a wide variety of chic styled clothes. All their items are made and produced from their own store. They offer free shipping over $29 and 20% off your first order! They also have a lot of coupon codes for more discounts so you should definitely check them out! They are also always updating their selections so make sure to browse their website~

Here are some photos of the dress along with its product info:

I received a confirmation email on July 6th and my package arrived on July 18th. As always it was securely wrapped!

First impression on this dress was wow this material is quite thin. Then I began to worry that it may be sheer. But I think because of its dark navy blue color, it is not that transparent as I had worried it would be. However, it doesn't hurt to wear safety shorts underneath so nothing is exposed!

The top part of the dress has two extremely long strings with a metal piece at each end. You can address the neckline of the dress this way~ I prefer to tie it very closed because the slit is actually quite long. I also wear a black cami underneath so my bra doesn't show through the slit.

You can kind of see my black cami in this picture. I love the overall style and look of this dress! It is pretty light so I don't think the long sleeves are too bad for the summer. I do however wish they were wider and more billowy but that may just be my fat arms taking up all the space in the sleeves, hehe.

In this picture I am thinking about what to eat for lunch. Something else I like about the dress is that it has a stretchy waistline so your waist is more defined. I have a pretty much nonexistent waist because of all my fat rolls, but this makes me look like I have a waist, heh. Also, the bottom hem of the dress is asymmetrical! I believe the front and back are longer than the sides.

Overall, I do like this dress! It's pretty comfy and the color is a lovely shade of navy blue. It's a cute dress to throw on for a casual lunch date!
