Hi friends! It's been a while since my last review. I hope you have all been doing well. Work has been really fun for me and it is definitely an experience I am going to miss. I really enjoy doing what I do (as a bowlmaker) and I'm going to miss my co-workers when I leave. They're a group of very funny, very cool people - and I am grateful for their help and their encouragements.
Today's review is going to be on the navy shift dress from Shein! Shein is an amazing online store for women's clothing. They have a huge variety of clothes ranging from shoes to accessories to skirts to tops. I guarantee you will find something you like! Please check them out!

I ordered this on August 13th and it arrived on August 29th, a total of 16 days. As always, the package was securely wrapped and each item was also individually wrapped.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how flowy and loose this dress is! Despite having a decent collection of dresses, I'm still always nervous about ordering them because occasionally they are too tight at all the wrong places. But this dress is nicely loose and breezy.
Another thing I like about this dress was that you can easily dress it up or down. Throwing on a black blazer makes it a good dress for work or a formal event. Leaving the dress as it is makes it a great dress to go out shopping or hanging out with friends.
The material of the dress is rather thin, but I don't think you can really see the outline of your underwear because it is so loose. Just to be safe, I wore some black safety shorts underneath!

I really do like the details of this dress. I like how it is a little bit of a tease because your bra strap is visible through these holes. If you are feeling bold, you can wear a bright color bra so it pops! Another reason why I wear safety shorts is that because it is a loose dress, your underwear can sometimes be seen through the lower line of holes, but only at the right angle.
In conclusion, I really do like this dress. It's design is very unique and appealing and the overall look of the dress is simple, yet cute. It is a very flexible item to have and can be paired with different things for different occasions!

Thank you for reading this short review! I think I have a slight obsession with shift dresses. I used to be so scared of wearing dresses because I thought I looked like a whale in them, but I think I've found my comfort zone. Shift dresses are so perfect to wear especially if you're afraid of your tummy protruding (and that's definitely me...).
